These are a few of the notes we have received from happy customers.

Caro Salvatore e Sabina,

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was to spend time with you... I felt like I was part of the family. Thank you so much. Sabina... please give my regards to Maria Gabriella, Eugenia and Germana.

I cannot function in New York yet. I am telling people that I am only a shell of the man because I left my heart and soul in Italy.

Tanti buoni auguri!

Sabina and her husband Salvatore are friendly and caring, and they speak excellent English. Sabine is a great resource, and can give you advice to make the most of your choices. She also has a lot of historical information about the area.

The renovation of a family farmstead that has belonged to Sabina’s family for three generations has been done tastefully. Our bedroom was light and airy with views out over the valley, vineyards, and the foothills of the Dolomites. The bath was large and modern.

We would definitely return to this B&B for the hospitality, the setting, and the location.

We moved on to Il Faé - northeast of Venice in the foothills of the Dolomites. Il Faé is owned by Salvatore and his wife Sabina. We were impressed by the couple's entrepreneurial activities.

Not only they do produce a lovely cabernet from their own vineyards, but they treat guests to their Prosecco - a champagne like aperitif that is the perfect accompaniment to watching the sun set around the swimming pool.

Sabina makes wooden picture frames and handmade slippers, which are available at their website: in addition they organise cooking classes.
